MN permit to carry course fees
The in-person classroom Minnesota Permit to Carry is $100 per student. A deposit of $50 holds your spot, and the remaining $50 is due before class starts. To host a class, the host pays $50 and every other student pays $100, with a minimum of 5 students. The Online Minnesota Permit to Carry is $115. That price includes the online class plus an in-person live-fire qualification. You meet with an RAPDS instructor at a designated location set by the instructor, based on RAPDS policies. The in-person classroom runs about 3 to 4 hours. Prescheduled range days are already on the availability calendar. Those classes have no travel cost. Travel can apply if you host a small group and the instructor comes to you. Travel is free within 25 miles of the location about 15 miles southeast of St. James. Beyond 25 miles, mileage is $0.76 per mile, round trip. Longer trips are quoted case by case.
Payment
Pay by PayPal invoice (credit cards are accepted through PayPal), Venmo @ReadyAmericanPDS, or cash. If you plan to pay cash, tell us at least 48 hours before class. Checks are not accepted.
Equipment
Bringing your own firearm is highly recommended. If you don't have one, a 9mm or .22 handgun can be provided at no charge; you supply the ammunition. Targets and stands are provided, along with SIRT training pistols, Blackhawk training pistols, and inert rounds in several handgun calibers. If you do not have a handgun for the live-fire portion, say so when you schedule. Bring your own hearing and eye protection. Foam earplugs and spare eye protection are on hand if a student's are damaged or forgotten.
Prices for other courses, plus cancellation, the disclaimer, and the waiver, are on Policies and Fees.
