Ryan and I have known each other for over two years. His qualifications as a firearms instructor are exceptional. I have had my own struggles with shooting mechanics and fundamentals. Through one on one training with Ryan, he identified what I things I needed to change and work on to become better. Those one on one training sessions have made me become a better shooter. I would highly recommend Ryan if you’re looking for some one on one training. He will take time to identify where some of your weaknesses are and help you correct them!

Ryan is a very knowledgeable passionate firearms instructor. Ryan takes his time to educate you on firearm safety and nomenclature of each firearm. He makes sure you can confidently operate a firearm safely. Ryan’s training and skills set gives you an opportunity to succeed at the range. Ryan can tell you how to fix bad habits you may have while shooting. He will set you up with suggestions to help improve accuracy and faster follow up shots. Ryan has personally helped me improve my draw into a faster, more accurate first shot on target.

Ryan is an excellent firearms instructor. He knows what he’s talking about, knows how to properly adjust your grip on your firearm from when you unholster it and put rounds down range to make you more accurate, and he’s patient during the whole process. I received firearm training in the past with someone else and after receiving training from Ryan, I felt more confident in what I was doing. If you want firearms training, I highly recommend Ryan for the job!

I have known Ryan for a little over 2 years. I have worked alongside Ryan on numerous occasions. I have asked numerous questions in regards to firearms, and proper techniques and functions. Ryan has always been very knowledgeable and more then willing to take the time to explain proper mechanics, and functionality and makes it easy to understand. I have struggled in the past with mechanics and functionality, but through one on one training with Ryan, it was quickly observed on what I was doing wrong, and the quick easy fix. Ryan has taken time at the range to really explain and observe what someone needs to work on, and explains it to them. If you are willing to learn, Ryan will do everything he can to make you a great shooter, and build up YOUR confidence. There is no other person I would trust, to assist me in training with my firearms, from my pistols, to my rifle, to my shotgun. Ryan can cover all the bases, and is very knowledgeable in all aspects, and took me from an average shooter, to a better shooter. I HIGHLY recommend Ryan and RAPDS to get you confident in handling your firearm, to being confident in using it, should the situation arise.
PERMIT TO CARRY
The course was very well organized and professional. The high emphasis on safety and knowing your target were appreciated. Great stories illustrating the topics were also appreciated. Equally beneficial for novices to experts, I would highly recommend this class to anyone at any skill level.
