Permit to carry course
About 3 to 4 hours of classroom instruction, then a live-fire range session. Inert training firearms are provided: SIRT handguns for grip, sight picture, and trigger control, and inert Blackhawk handguns for retention and safe handling. Bring your own handgun for certification, plus ammunition, eye protection, and ear protection. Private hosted events need at least 5 students. The in-person classroom is $100 per student. The Online Minnesota Permit to Carry is $115. It includes an in-person live-fire qualification. You meet with an RAPDS instructor at a designated location set by the instructor, based on RAPDS policies.
