Range Log is a personal shooting notebook from RAPDS (Ready American Personal Defense and Security). It is not a class, not a certification, and not legal advice. You must be 18 or older. You follow range safety and laws where you shoot. PRICE Use is $10 per year paid to RAPDS on PayPal (Ready American Personal Defense and Security LLC). Paying in the app on PayPal turns on or renews one year of access when PayPal confirms the payment. PayPal’s own terms apply. This is not auto-renew unless you later choose a PayPal subscription. RAPDS may change the price for new years. If you pay before your year ends, the new year is added onto the time you still have. RAPDS may also give a one-time code, or mark an account Free or Paid by hand (cash at a class). BETA TESTERS People RAPDS invited as beta testers keep Range Log free. That is a thank-you for testing. The $10 year does not apply to those beta accounts unless RAPDS later tells that person in writing. ONE-TIME FREE CODES RAPDS may give a one-time code so a customer can use Range Log without paying. That code works once, for one account. Forwarding it does not unlock more people. GRACE PERIOD AND RENEWAL When your paid year ends you have 30 days of grace. During grace you can still log times. Reminders start 30 days before your year ends, then 15 days, 10 days, 5 days, and 1 day before. After grace, logging is locked. You can still sign in and download your Word log, JSON backup, and Excel/CSV file. You cannot open the book to log new times until you pay $10 for another year, or enter a code from RAPDS. CLOUD FILES AFTER 180 DAYS One hundred eighty (180) days after your paid year end date, RAPDS may remove your cloud copy. After that, that copy may no longer be accessible. The copy on your phone stays until you delete the app. Download Word, JSON, and Excel/CSV before that date if you do not renew. This 180-day cloud rule does not apply to beta tester accounts. WHAT RAPDS SEES RAPDS can see your email, first name, last name, username, whether you are beta, free, or paid, your paid-through date, and how long and how often the app is open. Those are account facts. RAPDS does not collect your birth date, home address, phone number, card number, bank account, or other payment numbers. The $10 is paid on PayPal. PayPal handles the card or bank account. Range Log does not see or store that payment number. RAPDS does not open your book. RAPDS does not see your times, hits, misses, drills, challenges, or gear. RAPDS does not collect location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photos. WHAT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE / IN THE CLOUD Your log (times, drills, challenges, gear) stays on your phone until you choose Sync. When you tap Sync, a copy of that book is stored on the Range Log server so the same account can open it on another phone or computer. Only that account can open it. Other users cannot see your times, gear, drills, or challenges. That copy is not shown to RAPDS and is not on the roster. If logging is locked, you can still sign in and download a Word log, a JSON backup, or an Excel/CSV. You cannot log new times until you pay $10 for a year, or enter a code from RAPDS. YOUR BACKUPS Download your Word log, JSON backup, and Excel/CSV often (at least every 30 days). If you stop using the app, change phones, do not renew, or RAPDS ends Range Log, those files are how you keep your book. RAPDS MAY END THE APP RAPDS may cancel or stop Range Log at any time if it is no longer feasible to maintain — including server problems, technical issues, hosting changes, or business reasons. There is no promise that this app will run forever. If that happens, your on-phone log and your downloaded Word/JSON/Excel files are yours to keep. PASSWORD If you forget your password, use Forgot password on the sign-in page. A reset link is emailed through Resend, shown as Ready American Range Log (from the send.rapds.com mail). Replies go to Ryan@rapds.com. RAPDS does not see the new password you choose. You protect your password. NO WARRANTY The app is provided as-is. RAPDS is not responsible for lost times, range accidents, or how you use the data.
